The working principle of rail powered trolley:

(The step-up transformer is boosted to AC 380V) to control the transmission system, and the two-phase or three-phase low-voltage rail powered trolley that drives the forward and reverse of the railcar is stepped down by the step-down transformer to reduce the 380V power supply to 36V. On the track, then the power take-off device on the trolley will pass 36V AC to the on-board control box. The two-phase track is a rectifier that rectifies AC 36V into DC 36V to supply DC traction motor, while the three-phase track is the step-up transformer will exchange AC 36V. Direct boost to AC 380V power supply to the AC traction motor to control a series of operations of the entire trolley.
